Backpacking Australia – Breakfast With A View in Surfers Paradise

Backpacking Australia (1).png

Ever wanted to have breakfast in the sky? ….. an all you can eat breakfast?!

Well in Surfers Paradise at the Q1 Skypoint Observation Deck and Seventy7 Cafe you can do just that. A 230m high deck that offers beautiful views of the whole of Surfers and the Gold Coast, it is well worth a visit and even better a visit that includes a wonderful all you can eat breakfast buffet!

A normal visit to take in the views would cost you $24 but go in the morning and add all you can eat brekkie will cost you $32, makes so much sense right? You can’t even get an Avo on toast for $8.

I had a morning free in Surfers before my bus to Brisbane so up and early off I went with my pal Nicolas from Paris and we enjoyed a gorgeous couple of hours taking in the views and enjoying the unlimited breakfast! We couldn’t believe the gorgeous food that was on offer, there was a huge hot buffet full of bacon, sausages, eggs as well as toasts, cereals and a huge buffet of gorgeous yoghurts, pastries and cakes! No wonder we spent so much time up there. I was addicted to these yoghurts that had passionfruit and coconut on top! We had a delish breakfast and enjoyed loads of juice and cups of tea whilst taking in the views.

It was a great spot and we took a walk around it and took some beautiful pictures of the area.

If you are in Surfers Paradise I definitely recommend going here and having the breakfast! Although I reckon it also looks wonderful in the evenings at sunset with a cocktail in your hand.
